This is what we call encouraging democracy?????

Iraqi's Execute 13 after reinstating the death penalty in 2004. And this is what we call encouraging democracy? Ironically enough, another article claims that violence is hampering the fight for "rights" in Iraq. Doesn't this seem a little odd to you? If we are promoting democracy, should we really be encouraging state-sponsored violence? Shouldn't Iraq be adopting an appeals process that ensures against mere political opponents being put together under the guise of "terrorists"? Oh that's right, in his quest for "terrorists", Dubya has put a hold on democracy and U.S. citizen's rights while his war wages on. Way to go George W. Bush!!!
